Electronic certificates and signatures

Certificates

To respond electronically via the platform, candidates must have a valid electronic signature certificate delivered by a certification authority.
In accordance with Article 6 of the order issued on August 28, 2006, an electronic signature certificate must be obtained from an approved certification authority listed by the minister in charge of government reform.

Two situations are possible:
  • either the candidate has already obtained an electronic signature certificate,
  • or the candidate does not have an electronic signature certificate

a) Either the candidate has already obtained an electronic signature certificate,

Candidates must have obtained their electronic signature certificate from an approved certification authority whose name appears on the list kept by the minister in charge of government reform and listed by achatpublic.com.
The list of these certification authorities is available at the following URL address:
http://www.achatpublic.com/SDM_docs/AcListe

If the candidate’s certification authority is not on the aforementioned list, in accordance with Article 7 of the aforementioned government order, the candidate must request that its authority apply for such listing from the minister in charge of government reform as rapidly as possible. For more information, your certification authority should consult the following site:

b) Or the candidate does not have an electronic signature certificate

In this case, the candidate needs to obtain an electronic signature certificate from one of the certification authorities mentioned in point (a). Go to the URL address mentioned in point (a) for information on how to obtain and install this certificate on a workstation.

Each candidate is solely responsible for acquiring, installing and operating an electronic signature and authentication certificate.
